Description

This is a beautiful  specimen of Gabbro from Madagascar sometimes refereed to as "Indigo Gabbro" or "Mystic Merlinite" both are trade names used for this igneous beauty.
Composition consists mainly of purple and blue Plagioclase feldspar, green Olivine  and Augite minerals. Would be an excellent display or teaching specimen, also quite popular for lapidary uses.
